The two organizations will collaborate to move blockchain technology and artificial intelligence from "lab to land," according to Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
A memorandum of agreement has been struck between the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and Rajasthan to establish the first-ever center of excellence focused on blockchain and artificial intelligence. With the new center, the State government hopes to improve e-governance.
The Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed here on Thursday between Rajcomp Info Services Limited and IIT-Kanpur, is anticipated to guarantee the integrity of vital data for a number of projects for which blockchain-based solutions will be developed, as well as to improve security and transparency in the use of contemporary e-governance technologies.
During the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, State Information Technology Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore stated that the two organizations will collaborate to accomplish the goal of using blockchain technology and artificial intelligence from "lab to land" and from study to the practical application. According to him, IIT-Kanpur has made a name for itself in the blockchain technology industry on a worldwide scale.
According to Mr. Rathore, the IT Department will use the center of excellence to provide the State's citizens top-notch services in the areas of financial transactions, property registration, and healthcare. According to him, the department has already taken a number of steps to offer services based on contemporary technology.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Manindra Agrawal, a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT-Kanpur, and Rajcomp Info Services Limited managing director Indrajeet Singh. Arti Dogra, the secretary of the IT department, was present for the event.
